I want you at 4am, rubbing the dust from your eyes.
Sighing like the whispers of last night’s storms.
I want you in grass stained jeans, socks and shoes.

Your exposed skin still smelling of sunlight and earth.
My fingers tracing new constellations against gooseflesh. Reveling in your faint tremors.
I want you,
Entangled in my bed as the hours tick to dawn.
I want your every neuron to spark with anticipation. Waiting.
Wanting.
I want you between the rustle of hair and curling of toes.
Between the first gasp of labored breath and the tremors of bliss.
And somewhere in the middle finding the time to breathe.
